Why I offer a free coaching programme
I have been thinking for a while to offer a free coaching programme, and here I explain why.
I practice Linguistic Empathy and I expect you to do the same. Please bear with me if my English is not perfect.
In 2013 I certified as coach. Since then, I have been working mostly with expat women, but also with non expats who must face important changes.
I learnt a lot in these last four years. However, the most important think that coaching taught me, was the discovery of the absolutely strong human connection it can create. It is well known that it is important to meet (or e-meet) before starting a coaching programme, in order to be sure that there are no misunderstandings, and that chemistry between coach and coachee is strong.
In fact, I happened to accept working with clients with whom there was no real spark at the first meeting. I did that because I realized that that person was in real need of support. I would have felt uncomfortable refusing to start the programme, only because the first contact had not caused enthusiasm in me.
With time, I have learnt that coaching does that, too: it makes you love all human beings, it puts you in the position of creating a deep connection, of bypassing the heaviness of judgement, which so often prevents human relationships to flow.
As a participant to a teleclass in the academy I trained as a coach said, “coaching is an act of love“. I nourish myself on human relationships and could not exist without the oxygen of the exchange with persons of every kind and background. That’s why I can’t stop being grateful for having found a profession that allows me to channel these deep values.
This is the reason why I want to honour the profession that has given me – and continues giving me – so much. And I can’t think of a better way to use my skills, experience and passions, than to help someone who can’t afford to pay for a coaching programme.
I thought long and hard whether to do it. I am constantly short of time, I have loads of projects, a work that requires energy and presence and many passions to cultivate.
In the end, though, I told myself that motivation will help me find the way to sneak a free coaching programme into my busy routine.
I have therefore decided that, apart from moments of real emergency, I will always have a client I’ll work with at no cost.
I offer a free coaching programme of eight sessions to anyone who cannot afford to pay for one. The only thing I ask is a bit of flexibility with dates and rhythms.
I coach in Italian, English, Spanish and French, and I set no limits of situations, age, provenance or objective.
As you know I am a cross-cultural coach with focus on all situations linked to mobile life, but I have also had clients who have got nothing to do with life abroad, and with whom I worked on important changing situations.
Get in touch if you are interested, I wait for you.
